Allen Iverson's divorce case is taking some nasty twists and turns, as it seems the NBA star has now filed new legal documents in Fulton County, GA, asking a judge to throw out ex-wife Tawanna Iverson?s bid for a protective order.
TMZ broke the story reporting that the former star athlete is saying he never harassed his ex-wife or her family.
Tawanna claimed that Allen has ??engaged in increasingly contemptuous, threatening, and disturbing behaviour?? over the last few months. She believes the behaviour will only get worse.
However, the 36-year-old point guard, who had a short spell in the Turkish league in 2010 after his return to Philadelphia turned sour, filed documents to dismiss his long-running divorce case in March.
It claimed he and his wife reunited and were still intimate for a four-month stretch after she requested to split in June of last year, making her claim that the relationship was ??irretrievably broken?? null and void.
A judge has yet to rule.
