There will soon be a new job opening in Vatican City when Pope Benedict XVI retires, and a Craigslist ad is already seeking to find a new ?leader of international religion.?
The volume of applications for the position is expected to be?considerably?high and applicants will include powerful people, including ? of course ? Beyonce.
The ad requires that all applicants? must have a ?selective memory? of things that have gone on within the Catholic church and the ability to?deny condom effectiveness. ?Knowledge of the Catholic Church, its teachings and history is desirable but not required? and of course, all candidates must be able to abstain from all sexual activity.?
Job requirements entail waving hands to large crowds of people, sitting in comfy chairs for long periods of time and tweeting from the official Twitter account, @pontifex, but computer skills beyond that are not required.
The winning candidate will receive a ?competitive compensation package, including 7 star residence, access to the Papal helicopter, staff members / assistants as required.?
