India vs England: Ranchi curator expects 350-plus scores

Ranchi:? Basu Dev, curator of the newly built JSCA International Stadium, expects the team batting first to score approximately 350 runs. India will take on England in the third One-Day International (ODI) here Saturday on what he calls a sporty wicket.

"I have prepared a sporty wicket which will have a true bounce. The bounce will not be too low or too high. It is a bit green too and will dry as the match progresses. I expect the team batting first to score around 350 runs," said Basu Dev, who is a Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) employee.

"Daljit Singh saw the pitch and told me it is a very good one. One of the best he has seen in recent times," added Basu Dev, who is a long-standing groundsmen of the JSCA at the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur which hosts Jharkhand's home Ranji Trophy matches.
